I’ve been a CFO or head of finance (in multi $bn organisations) for two decades.

Starting as a finance graduate at Rolls-Royce, I’ve spent my entire career in the finance profession, with 2/3rds of that spent in multinational organisations.

My work has taken me across the UK, Europe, USA, Asia and Australasia and I now live in New Zealand.

Through a combination of good timing, luck and a fair amount of hard work, supported by some great bosses and mentors, I’ve learned a lot along the way.

I’ve had a passion for excellence since reading, In Search of Excellence whilst travelling around the US after leaving university.

Because of this, I hate compromise.

I also have a passion for building and developing teams.

Put the two together and you get excellent teams.

I believe that finance teams have a unique ability to have an outsized impact in the organisations they support.

My mission, is to help as many finance teams and CFOs as possible, increase their impact and influence in their organisations.
