My discovery process is designed to help me understand your challenges, values and goals, so I can create a great outcome.
I’m not a mind reader or a psychic!
So, when I start working with a new client, the first step is to go through an intense discovery process.
Here’s how I work:
There are no shortcuts to getting to know you.
So when I start working with you I will book a project kickstart session.
It’s a bit like going on a date without the awkward bits.
You wouldn’t expect to fill out a Google doc before going on a first date, which is why we don’t get you to fill in an online form beyond the initial enquiry form.
The project Kickstarter is all about getting to know you:
Understanding your priorities.
Understanding the key issues and challenges.
Understanding what you’ve tried before.
What’s worked (and what hasn’t)
To form a picture of what we need to do to help improve your organisation’s performance.
I’ll listen.
Take notes and ask clarifying questions.
Then, I’ll come up with a plan to target the agreed priorities.
With regular check-ins on performance – just to make sure we are on track.
And then we get started.
